Looks like Garnacho is going to be this years Harvey Elliot for Villa with a similar loan to buy if appearance conditions are met.

I know they talk about Birmingham having more canals than Venice but they really are embracing their Italian side when it comes to transfers :italy:

Is no dinner conversation between me and Mrs Limie not for public consumption?

Clement Bischoff from RB Salzburg to NEC on loan.
Tom Dele-Bashiru from Watford to Aris for €1.5m.
Alban Lafont from Nantes to Amed for €1m.
Casemiro from United to Inter Miami on a free.
Akor Adams from Sevilla to Venezia for €16m.
Paul Nardi from QPR to Auxerre on a free.
Norman Bassette from Coventry to Westerlo on loan.
Nermin Mujkic from Sarajevo to Al-Jazira for €1m.
Ibrahima Ba from Famalicao to Sporting Lisbon for €21.2m.
Clayton Diandy from Aris to Al-Diriyah for €4.6m.

Rafiu Durosinmi from Pisa to Genk for €10.5m.
Karim Adeyemi from Dortmund to Barcelona for €22m.
Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge to Arsenal for €40m.
Xaver Schlager from RB Leipzig to Forest on a free.

Isn’t Luke Chambers supposed to be heading to QPR too?

I am disappointed in the other 19 Premier League clubs for allowing this travesty - surely one of you could have stepped in and gazumped Newcastle

So many interesting transfers taking place across the globe, it’s hard to keep up.

Arsenal taking very seriously their position as most dislikeable club in the league

Classic bit of brinkmanship by his agents to get him the deal he wants.

Yes why?

My two pence worth is that as there are only so many players of his level about and relatively available. Buying him, even if you don’t really need him, means someone else will eventually have to buy from you, pay someone else that much more or risk going w/o. They are stocked in all areas and are in no hurry to sell anyone in particular so can hold out for a good price.

That players go to them is the odd thing - maybe they just see the sure money for 6-8 years, are ok with potentially having very little game time and know they can move on in a couple of years if they fancy playing again (for less presumably).

Why do I think that is a load of bull and doesn’t much give Ornstein credibility?

Least we know what Hughes has been doing this window
