This Mudryk deal is bonkers. De Zerbi worked with him at Shaktar in his breakout season so you can see why he might be willing to take a chance on him if they have a need and he is cheap. But the deal has a purchase clause that if enacted would see Chelsea make a 15m quid profit on him despite him having been utterly shit in his season and half of football there and having not played football of any kind for 2 years

Not from Chelsea - you cannot loan a player to a club in your league the same window you sign them. He is being loaned directly from Atalanta, but with some sort of back door clause allowing Chelsea to buy him next summer while he gets prem experience this year.
