I think @Prolix took it over but has been slacking of late.

Come on @Prolix la, pull your finger out!

I copied the season vs. season chart, but I’m not sure I have the necessary Photoshop skills to put the other teams in the bin. :cold_sweat:

I’m actually working on something, where’s the link to that?

Going on my nerves with the injury excuses.

Is it possible to compare their numbers with ours?

I’ve just seen this comparison:

Yeah, a lot of people may have forgotten that Arsenal had that noticeable blip earlier in the season. Their narrative after this year will probably be that they fell away after new year because of injuries, which of course will have an impact but we have been the most consistent side this season (in terms of getting points or wins)

Tired of the injury excuses for Arsenal.

We suffered through much worse last season and it was only due to the crooked match officials that we didn’t win the title. And needless to say we were competing for 4 trophies during that entire period. With kids too at times.

Fuck them off with their 750m outlay and their whinging about injuries. Entitled twats. Them and their fanbase.

I’m the glory hunter now. It’s not like this was the first title since 2012 that we’ve had to wait for.

Those 24 days are doing a lot of heavy lifting for Mikel.

And also for Man City while we are at it. The Rodri injury issue can only hold so much importance. Unless it’s pep admitting he’s basically relying on a guy doing cynical fouls as a tactic.

I’m surprised we are still so high up in that injuries table…

You shouldn’t be as long as Jota and Gomez are around - and it seems that young master Bradley is following their example. :frowning:

We had several important players out for quite some time. Allisson for instance. Kelleher had to play quite a lot of games for him during a while. Robertson was out during a few weeks. Gomez and Jota have been out for longer spells. And Elliot, who was flying at the start of the season, injured himself early in. Trent had his problems too (Bradley as well), and we lost several players due to the flu at a point.

Of course, we have been lucky to be able to keep our very best players on the pitch most of times (bar Alli): VVD, McAllister, Salah. They are the spine of the team. The brilliant form and consistent fitness of Gravenberch has played a big role as well to keep things ticking.

We have also avoided injuries clustering around the same part of the pitch. We were down to our last defender at one point, but we haven’t had to resort to playing people wildly out of position as we have in recent seasons.

The total days of injuries only tells part of the story.

Yeah it was me, I just dusted down my Imgur account to see if the images are still there, and they are see below!!!

I’m more of a watcher of this board now than a conributer, thats why I stepped down. Was a fun year though that one.

Yes. They have 54 points from 27 games. We have 67 points from 28.

Leicester making the cut to be in the elimination bin, that dates it, doesn’t it?
