We can slag off Arsenal, and the shit anti-football they play, but they’re having a season we could only have hoped for. Champions League final, having led the Premiership most of the season (something even we could not do last year). As for their supposed awful play? What have we been then?

Is there a single Liverpool fan anywhere who will say anything other than we have been awful?
You’re right Arsenal are having a great season. They’ve had a nice easy run to the Champions League final and they’re on course to win the league with a relatively low points total. Everything has pretty much fallen for them this year but all you can do is ride it. They’ll probably win the league now but can’t see them beating PSG.
@sgs ?
I’m speaking as a really bitter Liverpool fan with a grudge against everything - this Arsenal season is the inversion of Liverpool’s 2021/22 season.
We had a fantastic persona of a manager, played fantastic football for most of the time, won two domestic cups and narrowly missed out on PL and CL trophies. They have a bland persona of a manager, play shit football for most of the time, lost both domestic cups but they will narrowly win both PL and CL trophies.
Bitter, yes, I get that. I’d rather see Citeh win the title than them ![]()
As for the CL…?
Back to the days of Lucky Arsenal? 1-0?
Like a cherry on this shitcake of a season for us?
I’ll be in the minority here, but I don’t want Qatar FC to put their dirty hands on the trophy again. If Arsenal has to win it, then so be it. Same for the league btw. If they can hold off Cheaty FC, then all the better.
(Feeling dirty now, but still, I stay by it.)
Its a case of picking your poison. I get the distaste PSG success brings, but in the end they are a lovely side who play wonderful football. If you think about what attracted you to football as a kid, PSG’s football represents a lot of that.
In contrast, Arsenal are indistinguishable from a heel in the WWF. If this was your first experience of football you might not go a second time. Everything about them and their football is awful, and while they are not state sponsored, their owner is among the worst of the American billionaire class himself
Some heels are loveable, they are not. It’s more how such wins can shape football as a whole and I really don’t want to watch expensive Stoke for say the next 5-10 years.
I am neutral in both the title and the CL race and even for the Spurs relegation battle, I want to be entertained and PSG V Bayern entertained me, I’ve watched 4-5 Arsenal matches recently and I haven’t finished one even if they lost.
As for celebrating they have every right and good luck to them, I just not going join in as no fan should join in our celebrations if they don’t want. It’s not Man Utd or Everton winning so I don’t much care. I am more interested in the playoffs and who wins out in the lesser European competitions tonight.
They really go over the line sometimes with these PR videos. Start of May, battling for the biggest prizes and yeah let’s make a pro-Gyokeres video, like those kids on YouTube. I wouldn’t want my club to do that. Like that overdramatical overemotional contract extension video with Ramsdale. And then he was sold not long after that.

He runs and battles and I think its a credit to his mental fortitude that he’s still doing it with enthusiasm for how badly he’s played. This was a game where that energy was important to them. He’s still crap though.
We’ve been awful this season
The new superstar of the NBA is a French kid who is getting plaudits not just for his basketball but how excellently and thoughtfully he speaks in public. This his take on the CL final

Isn’t he a close friend with Ekitike, too?
This year PL is exciting for the neutrals, with everything that can change until the last day. For me, it would be so funny if Arsenal screws these last 3 games, lose the league and then lose the CL finals,if that happens, we might see the last of Arteta.
