Still red ribbons…oh the memories…
Compounds an awful season. Loathe Arsenal fans and having to hear them go on about it.
Congratulations to them though. They have been the best side, even if I think they don´t have any world class players except perhaps Saliba.
Claude can finally rest in peace.

What do we get for having one of the shittest title defenses ever?
The only thing I do not mind is Ian Wright celebrating.
I wouldn’t mind Arsenal winning the title if their football wasn’t dire and their manager wasn’t so unlikeable. Their supporters have always been insufferable, but I’m sure they feel the same way about us.
There was a time where Arsenal were one of my favorite clubs to watch, especially back in the peak Henry-Bergkamp years. What a team, led by a manager in Wenger who I respected for trying to make football that much better.
Now, their football is so far away from that. It’s dour and boring and cowardly.
They won the title. Credit to them. But they did not advance football in doing so. They set it back.
Man City got relegated so I doubt that’s ever being beaten.
Congratulations to Arsenal FC. Your “Trust The System” works.
I hope it seriously falters next season, the league cannot become more like that.
Well at least Man City didn’t win it

Gets it out of the way, we will have to put up with it for a year and then we are clear until the late 2040’s
I found this article interesting. I have been interested about why different ethnic and cultural groups of people support certain clubs in the UK and Europe.
John Barnes was a huge figure for me and alot of people I knew in London identified with Ian Wright.

Am I the only one who’s noticed that this is a cunningly doctored picture?
Against Burnley on Monday with about 5 mins to go they conceded a free kick 10 yards outside the Burnley box after losing possession and facing a potential counter attacking situation. Which ever of their CBs who was whistled picked the ball up and started walking backwards away from the free kick spot slowly with the ball in his hands. He eventually tossed it up in the air to one his midfielders (I think MLS) who also held on to it for a few seconds before punting it comically high into the air. By the time the goalie had it in hands ready to restart Arsenal were fully back in defensive shape on their preferred line. Last season that would have been 2 separate yellow cards and another 90 seconds added in ET.
It’s that sort of thing they’ve done all season and every game I watch them I leave stunned at the degree they have been refereed differently than everyone else.
Similar feeling of going crazy as watching a Man City game and seeing Rodri spend the entire 90 minutes dragging players down to the ground yet never even getting booked. It’s amazing how some teams/players have this inate ability to get away with blantently obvious foul play.
It’s absurd, in light of what we’ve seen, that Arsenal have not received a single red card or conceded a single penalty this season.
