Yeah, we have 3 Arsenal supporters in our team and all good lads.

I have a few Arsenal mates too. They are good people. On the whole, I have liked Arsenal fans, they are quite friendly.

Happy that they won.

I have a handful of Arsenal friends myself.

They’re pricks and their triumph makes me physically sick.

Yeah absolute worst champions ever. Snide, cheaty, rough and whiny: legoman has managed to distil all the worst qualities of a Spanish atletico without any football. And next season we’ll probably see 8 mini Arsenals and no doubt legoman crying about set piece fouling.

The likes of Henry, Bergkamp and Wenger would be rolling in their graves if they weren’t alive.

Funny thing is if you go back to the start of last season with the focus on referees cutting down on “the dark arts”…holding in the box, time wasting etc…arsenal were the reference even then for what needed to be addressed. Lots of the reports cited letters from premier league clubs having been sent to the PGMOL highlighting their cheating. They built themselves up into a problematically cynical side that required conscious effort from the refs to address, their season then catastrophically imploded once the refs decided it shouldn’t be ignored anymore, and then we went into this season and basically forgot all about it. Even worse, it is likely that Arsenal’s complaints about their treatment last year, treatment that simply normalized the consequences of how they behaved to what the rules are, has made the authorities go light on them this year. Like Arsenal were owed something

After City failed to beat Bournemouth yesterday, I have seen quite a few Arteta vs Klopp stuffs floating around :face_with_spiral_eyes:.

Let’s hope that PSG will send them packing to shut down those idiots.

Arsenal fans are everywhere l, on the tube, the streets, in the shops. :see_no_evil_monkey:

They are becoming unbearable. My housemate is going to be driving me nuts. She wants me to go with her to the parade :see_no_evil_monkey:

My poor LFC friend from Allerton, (the one who took us to the parade last year). He lives almost opposite the Emirates stadium. He shut all the windows last night!

At least they are like us super proud unlike City where it was a procession

They were honking the car horns all night. From what i have seen, they really are ecstatic. One bus driver was so proud, one fan climbed on to the roof of his bus.
Arsenal fans are very similar to us in celebrating. Ian Wright was out and about with the fans as well.

They can finally take it out from Big Yellow

I can’t fault them for going nuts. It’s been 22 years, this is what football is about.

It’s a shame though; had we been anywhere near our standards, we would have made them wait longer.

I don’t mind that. That’s proper football fans. It should be a big deal to win things, and not just disappearing with a shrug before heading to hospitality.

I’ve always liked Ian Wright as well. Great player, but he always comes across first and foremost as a fan.

Exactly. Let them celebrate. Can you imagine how unbearable everyone found us?

The only issue I have is that they won it playing such awful, cynical football. It’s creates a problem for the league.

I love Ian Wright, wished played for us, wonderful personality. I am looking forward to seeing his biopic film.

At 21 he was still playing Sunday League and was top scorer in the London and Kent Border Sunday League. Unbelievable really.

He was then signed by Crystal Palace after a season at semi pro Greenwich.

Lads like this are surely still out there.

The scouts need to go there. I was reading about south London and beyond, there are kids who are so talented, but they need luck as well.

Alot of credit goes to Ian Wright’s teacher who believed and mentored him. Ian Wright credits him on his success. I think there was a tv programme some years ago about it.

Would any top club these days even cast a glance at a 21 year old playing Sunday League football. I really doubt it. They prefer to sign up a load of very young kids to their academy in the hope that maybe one or two survive the rejection process along the way.

I know of one lad who was in the Birmingham academy. After he was rejected at 15 he barely kicked a ball afterwards. I do wonder what the very high rate of rejection does to those lads…
