He’s gone full Pep. Never go full Pep.
They got a draw, albeit a late draw so it might have felt better than just one point. But one point is all they got. They were at home, and traditionally if you want to win the Premier League you want to beat your rivals at home, draw away, while also picking up the points you need, home and away, against everyone else.
Against that old adage Arsenal fell short against us and against Man City.
Arteta sounds a bit unhinged the way he is going on about their supposed accomplishment. If you want a true barometer, check out what many of the Arsenal fans were saying after the match. They were gutted by the cowardly approach that was designed to contain, rather than going out there to win it.
The Arse, and their fans especially, must realise by now that they are in somewhat of a bind having Arteta as manager…
Looking at this from a logical perspective, they have a manager that has been good enough to get them a runners-up spot for a number of seasons… Meaning, the other managers that have proven to be better than him by finishing first in those same seasons, are unavailable to take his place…
Immaterial of the shit football or hard to swallow tactics he deploys, or the squillions of pounds they have spent bringing in his choice of player… it would be extremely difficult to entice a manager on board that could ‘guarantee’ to get better results than him to win the PL, without taking the club back to square one, spend some more squillions and start again.
While Pep wins it gives other fans comfort that this cheating shitty club are conning themselves to the title however Slot waltzes in, some bloke most of them suggested would be sacked within the season and wins it.
That’s got to hurt when you think it was your destiny last season.
I just read this. Horrendous news. A 21 year old died following (apparently) a freak accident whilst playing.
Demonstrates how brittle life can be.
Yes, someone posted the news of his injury a day or two. Really shocking news.
I had only heard of him before this week because i signed him recently in a fm24 run.
Yes, life is truly fragile and unpredictable.
Death could strike anytime anywhere on anyone.
Live it to the maximum possible.
Heard about this a few days ago and he was not in good condition at the time but this is still tragic to hear.
RIP to the lad
This is pretty funny he posted this
Us so far this season: 12 games, 21 goals scored, 17 conceded.
Arsenal so far this season: 11 games, 21 goals scored, 3 conceded.
Last season I felt our attack against their attack was an important area where we got the advantage.
This season, their defence or defending overall could be the difference.
Even if City are picking up results slowly but surely, you can never count them out, while they’re close.

The Atlético Madrid delegation had to leave the Emirates Stadium without showering due to a lack of hot water.![]()
Players were sweating and rushing back to the hotel to shower because there was no hot water after the official training session.![]()
There was a huge sense of anger within the delegation.![]()

Absolutely disgusting treatment, UEFA should definitely look into this and maybe even issue a suitable punishment, like kicking them out the tournament.

What these stats don’t reveal is that while Arsenal are playing as well as can be expected, we are at our worst.
I’d take their best against our best anytime.
Success is all about marginal gains. Was it Everton who Halaand scored against from a corner/free kick after making space for himself by farting on his defender? These days everyone is doing the basics. To win you have to search for an advantage everywhere.
I’m not trying to look for excuses, because they are playing much better than us, but I think our start has been much harder. We saw what happened when they played us.
