The Corona Pandemic

The more I think about this the more I start to feel that it is the wrong move. From a virus tracking perspective etc. that’s gone now.

Has there been a lot of backlash from businesses on this? That is where I assume the government has buckled over.

From my experience this raises questions on how venues cover themselves from that H&S angle. All of these places will have risk assessments in place as part of their management of H&S risks. How can they mitigate the risks to their employees and visitors if Covid doesn’t appear on that register any more?

Here in Switzerland, all people over 75 were prioritised and got the Pfizer vaccine. 75% of them were vaccinated after a few months. Then, vaccination became open to younger people, and for these ones, Moderna was overwhelmingly used. That could go a long way to explain this data if something similar happened in Connecticut.

8 weeks on and bed occupancy in hospitals is at 8,256 compared with a peak in January of 39,254.

Numbers on ventilation currently 1,055 compared with a peak in January of 4,077.

Noticed this afternoon some bellend has put up anti-vaccination stickers in my village. I took great pleasure in ripping down as many as I could find.

Similarly, we have some fvcking numbnuts and morons protesting in front of the hospitals against health care workers.

Why can’t we throw them in jail for endangering public health???

Spain cases

Italy cases

Russia cases

Cases falling in France, Spain, Italy and Russia. Cases going up in UK and Germany. Is the UK doing the same thing wrong as Germany or are they each doing different things wrong?
