As long as it works and is safe(testing on politicians prisoners paedophiles(the second two if we run out of politicians)) the NHS shoud be first in line.

A predictable end to this tale.
Me and the Mrs developed a cough midweek, and went for a test on Thursday. Came back negative within 24 hours. That’s confusing, we thought. How can our lad have Coronavirus, but we, who he sneezes, coughs, and dribbles on all day don’t have it? False positive? False negative?
Then today got an email from test and trace saying that the lads sample was incorrectly processed, contaminated in the lab, and then a positive result was incorrectly sent out.
They want him to do another test, but I’m fucked if I’m putting him through that again.
When I spoke to NHS this evening to double check my reading of the email, it didn’t sound like an isolated incident.

To be fair, it is the tracing system that has been truly woeful, and that is not a failing of the tracing system.

I’ve seen a list going around that they would start with NHS/care home staff and patients at the end of December, and then to various groups as supply allowed following that. Don’t know if that was from an official list.

Cross contamination is a no no. The lab that processed that test should be black listed. This is the problem when you employ rent a boys.
If this is the standard of the tests then an informed guess would be just as good.

The pressure now being put on the MHRA is obscene. This smells of dud statistics that wouldn’t pass a thorough vetting. Not good for confidence levels. Of course the majority of people won’t give a shit until they are told the vaccine they got was complete rot.

Found out yesterday that I may have had a lucky escape.
In August / September I was due to meet a client to discuss some work on a derelict building. Meeting was to be on site (outside). He emailed the day beforehand to say that he’d got a chest infection. Didn’t hear anything more until yesterday. Turns out that chest infection was COVID. Took him over 5 weeks to get through it.
