Aus v Ind
NZ v Eng

On the way. Probably not much overlap as the Adelaide test is day night. Should be able to watch cricket from breakfast until dinner time :+1:t4:

England without Brook is nothing.

Really looking forward to this test. Hazlewood breaking down again is a big loss. Cider needs to have a flawless captaincy here and get us on the board.

I do think Australia will win this match easily.

Of course you do

Oh Harry! What on earth were you thinking?

Will be lucky to get 300 now.

Great day’s cricket in Wellington. 360+ runs, 15 wickets, never a dull moment.

Ffs India!

According to Baz Sith, Starc is past it.

I like the cut of Marnus’s jib tonight. He’ll probably be out next ball, but he looks aggressive and fucking fired up. As he should be when his position in the side is up for grabs.

Being extremely passive against the Indian bowlers is part of the reason they’ve been so successful so far. We’ve been visibly afraid of them so far in the series.

Play our natural game. Outside of India’s dodgy arse fucking pitches, cricket is a batsman’s paradise and we should be more fucking confident in our ability to dominate.

Pink ball test cricket is fabulous. A real challenge for the batsmen in the night sesh. Best cricket.

Especially in a hot Sydney evening sitting out the back in the man cave with a 2016 Shiraz and listening to Purple Rain and British Steel.

Is there a better song than The Rage.

Where to begin?

All cricket should be played with a red ball. End of.

Sydney is in Australia, therefore there are a billion better places to be. And man caves are for children who refuse to grow up. I don’t know which Shiraz you’re drinking, but a nice Bordeaux would be more my cup of tea.

Music is entirely subjective, of course, so I won’t go into that.

I mean I kind of agree with that. Sydney feels like another part of the USA - random violence and general dickheadery from people. The last place i’d live in Aus ( Illawarra where I’m from is my second fave spot though)

But I agree with @Rooster that pink ball, especially at the Adelaide oval, watching it in the evening is for me a must-watch version of the game. Fantastic. I wouldn’t want a 5 game series played in D/N but it’s now a lovely unique part of a series in Aus.

To continue……

Red ball over white ball but night test has improved test cricket and a pink ball comes up good on TV.

Would rather be in Sydney right now than Europe except for attending football matches.

I won’t grow up so you are right….but I have a much bigger issue atm. Will write a story in what’s happening next week.

Bordeaux the best….correct. That’s my go to choice. That’s one thing we agree on.

One of your best. Love it. And Bairstow and the Poms are still wrong.

BCCI calling in a favour to extend the game for another over for 40 fucking seconds of lights going out twice.

Suck shit. It didn’t work.

Carse proving to be a good find for England. Really good spell at Williamson, could have had him a number of times. Probably a banker to play the Ashes now.

Weird shit Aussies get upset about part 798:
Something to do with lightbulbs.

Yeah, he’s got genuine pace when he wants to use it and control too.
Impressed so far. Hope he can keep fit.

If they go 2-0 up then both he and Atkinson should really be sitting out the third test, let Potts and Stone have a go.

Surely it’s time to ‘rest’ Crawley.
