Nope. Australia need to go for a win. Even if it means that the Indian team would have a slim chance of chasing this one down. Anything other than that means that the Aussies aren’t playing the front foot game.

It is a trophy with increased significance. Not the ashes but the one after.

Plenty of Indian cricket fans can’t stand Kohli. He’s got his fanboys but quite a lot of people see him as being a washed up entitled prick.

I know a lot of Indian cricket fans. They tend to be uncles who like a whiskey before dinner and who think that their biryani is the best.
You couldn’t meet a more likeable bunch.

I’d hazard a guess that there’s an Indian fan somewhere who feels exactly the same about Australian fans.

At least a test match broke out in the end.

Unlikely yes. Wondering if one of the openers can go out and chance their arm 20/20 style and see how it goes

Also, who made him an expert in car tyres

South africa beat Pakistan in what was a great match.

99/8 chasing 150 and rabada Jansen took them home.

During the 97(?) World Cup I was attending uni in the US (New York). We congregated at a uni mate’s house whose dad had satellite TV and we were watching India vs Pakistan. Just for kicks I said I’ll back Pakistan since most everyone backing India. The guy (an acquaintance) who had given me a ride (a rabid India fan) was so incensed that he wouldn’t give me a ride back to campus (even though India won).

Had to take a cab back. Can only imagine what a douchebag he’d be had India lost

Didn’t get enough runs. Pakistan bowlers always bailing their batsmen out, this one was a bridge too far

This was more of Bavuma playing a shit shot that got his side in trouble.

Not special bowling or anything.

I know everyone likes to blame Bavuma, but surely he’s not solely responsible for his team’s batting performance.

Why is he still in the SA side? He’s not very good

The time where Pakistan had really special bowlers has long gone I’m afraid

Well the first 3 SA ibws I watched live. Pretty unplayable swinging deliveries, so I have to disagree.

He was a set batsman who played a stupid shot when his team were cruising.

I’m not sure of whether he’s leading the test side anymore. But if he’s a captain , that’s cardinal

He’s got a test average around 37, which isn’t brilliant, but isn’t rubbish either.

Pakistan batsmen do this on the regular :man_shrugging:t2:
