Brain tumour UK here if you’re serious?

I don’t think the bowling was particularly bad however the field seemed to be about several yards were it should have been (Leach aside, one over from him could have told you not to bother).

Batting however especially bar the Malan and Root partnership was just sloppy.

Honestly I have no idea how they’ll fit them in. I think Anderson definitely plays. Robinson is a certainty as well. Personally I would like to keep Wood in the team for the variation he brings to the attack but there’s no way he plays all 5 tests so he’ll have to miss out somewhere. If Stokes isn’t fit to bowl again then who knows how they’ll try to balance the side.

Maybe it will be Anderson and Broad for Woakes and Leach but eh, I want a spinner in my side. Think Root gave Leach a hospital pass in this test and generally in his reign as captain has had no fucking idea how to manage any spin bowler.

The trouble is with England is we always seem to debate the bowling attack when 99% of the time it’s the batting that fucks us over. We have one world class batsman in his prime who is putting up insane numbers whilst being surrounded by village cricketers, imagine what he’d be able to do if he had a couple of competent batsmen around him.

Well I wasn’t really serious, but now I feel I kind of have to be! 10 quid to a worthwhile cause would be a fair amount to pay for the unexpected joy of a win downunder.
I look forward to your contribution to the election of a socialist government

Yeah that early spell by Robinson was dangerous.

I didn’t watch after that but he was insanely unlucky on a few of them.

Blow for Australia, though I hear Richardson has done well domestically of late. Find it a bit strange they continued to make him bowl with that injury.

It’s a shame for him, he certainly deserves it more than some of the other candidates. If England were more successful he would have had a better chance.

If the team was more successful he would have been knighted.

Tô be fair looking the list and I’m no fan of Fury (personal rather than professional) only Sterling seems odd and probably should only have made if England won it, saying that he did have a good tournament and far better than the media darling Grealish.

For me It’s Peaty he is across the boundary of a great performance and is now a great Olympian anyhow sorry off topic.

And yet Raheem Stirling makes it onto the list?

Englands 12 man squad for the next test

Burns
Hameed
Malan
Root
Stokes
Pope
Buttler
Woakes
Robinson
Anderson
Broad
Leach

Supposedly a toss up between Broad and Leach, Anderson confirmed as replacing the rested Wood.

I’m really excited for this test. Should be a proper battle. Also, I can wake up at 4am rather than go to bed at 4am!

Fuck me.

So some punter in the same restaurant had COVID and Pats probably out yet Garry and Mitch are also in there but outside so can play? Farcical over reaction.

This shit cannot go on forever.

Now for the controversial positive……step up Smithy….oh ya Beauty.

Hopefully as big a loss as Glen Mc twisting his ankle standing on a cricket ball.

Wow! Once I saw that replay and there was no nick I thought he was toast. Saved by the AO bounce. Brave review.

Listen it’s shit timing given we’ve also list Hazelwood but it’s better than him potentially coming and infecting the entire team.

England are going to regret using and losing that review given how the bounce is making LBW difficult to call.
