I’m beginning to realise what foresight the EU had in pressing ahead with the Galileo sat nav system.
Disappointing…26 billion Euros of trade covered in the retaliation. Canada’s first phase alone was 30 billion USD. Trump will still be enraged, I suppose

It would be rather ironic if VW started producing vehicles for the military again as the post war company started with a big order for the British Army.
Tbf, they already had, eh, some experience with military equipment prior to that…
There was an article on NDR last night about Rheinmetall converting the Porsche factory in Osnabrück for military production:
This was originally a Karmann factory and VW took it over and have used it for overflow production for various models. It is currently earmarked for closure but it could be an ideal fit for Rheinmetall. I think there is also a gearbox plant in a similar situation.
Yeah, seems to make a lot of sense.
Back to the roots, but it’s, uh, a bit different this time. If you catch my drift. Kind of creepy writing this while just at this moment the sirens are going off here (just a test, fortunately).
Weren’t VW going to lay off quite a lot of workers and close two factories? This might just be the solution…
Scared the living shit out of me. Don’t they normally warn in advance when they are doing that?
Well I’m sorry…
Tbf, I was talking about myself.
Media reports it, but for some reason I never get the message before it’s happening
Just checked the local news and it was on that. I was up at 05:00 working so I missed the announcement. We were dealing with a real emergency for the red cross at the time, so pretty much everyone had a near death experience on it!
