Came across two stats that were interesting this weekend. First, is that the number 1 and 2 spots for most left footed premier league goals are both taken by liverpool players. I would say “name them” but the answer is pretty obvious.
The other one was about all time top CL/European cup goal scorers. When you break it down by nationality, Kane and Rooney are the top two English players. There is one other English player who has reached 25 goals. I think in retrospect it isnt as leftfield an answer as I felt at the time, but I think I could have spent all weekend guessing and not come up with it. Who is it?
I’d guess Gerrard or Lampard?

Sorry, quick question: Wasn’t there like a little group from the old TIA forum that had an oline quiz going for a while ( I think I played a couple of times years ago)? Is that still going?
If it’s the one I’m thinking of, no, it died a long time ago lol. Me and one other lad were left as the only ones doing it for a while, but it’s been years since I last checked in so I’d be surprised if he’s still plugging away at it solo.

Crisis averted…it appears the quiz I used was a tad out of date so failed to account for goals scored this season by Dembele and Alvarez, but doesnt impact the core question…who is the third top scoring englishman in CL/EC history behind Kane and Rooney? It is not Gerard, Lampard, or Cole
