Not sure how much traction this will get but I often ponder hypothetical scenarios, what might have been, alternative endings etc. I do like a good hypothetical, personally, as an exercise for the mind while keeping it plausible (insomuch as time traveling a certain thing, person etc is plausible but let’s not get hung up on the details). Open to anything although to start of with:
I was taking a long walk and wondered how Alexander would incorporate a Zulu Army into his own, what would such a battle. Spent a very pleasant hour and a half mulling over the possibilities in my head.
Okay, I’ll be honest; this particular scenario would probably only interest @Magnus ,

Was there always going be a Hitler type figurehead? Also Claus Von Claus von Stauffenberg success been in the long term less of an issue. One that’s more obvious is if the Allies had opened a second front of the deadlines previously set the UK and British would have reached Berlin before the Russians. Question how that would have played out with the cold war is anyones guess.

One of my main questions has been answered, and that was would Hitler won the war if he didn’t attack Russia. The consensus would have been no, as he needed to attack in order to gather raw materials, so instead would have lost the war due to lack of raw materials.

I mean didn’t he go past the Maginot line in ridiculous pace? I guess he would have needed the raw materials to hold the ground.
Ultimately he went in to soon, at first that didn’t look the case but Germany wasn’t ready and Italy or any other axis power was ready.
Also Chamberlain’s belated build up of military weapons did in some way prevent the invasion of mainland Britain. Though questions sit whether they could have done it with a navy that the British held.
