Yeah it’s a point I made earlier in the season about not having European commitments this season so they could concentrate on the league and get err into Europe.
And before anyone says it their only chance of Europe was the CL.

It’s cute as to how every season , they start with some semblance of positivity only to see the positivity die a brutal death 2-3 games in.
I was naive too once. Thought that we could finish in the top 8 with Hodgson. But this is entirely different.
We didnt spend fuck loads of money under Hodgson to be in the relegation battle. These guys routinely spend upwards of 200m a transfer window for the last 10+ years and still remain shit.
