The Man Utd thread (3)

This is exactly how Neville could be described in his heyday…

Yeah can’t enjoy this thread at all this season, sorry Muggsy!

Same here, I can’t laugh at Utd at the moment, not the way we’re playing this season.

Reduced to laughing at the wobblies or watching the Ashes.

I don’t even laugh at Everton these days, first time for decades.

Unless they were to be relegated not sure what there is to laugh about them - whether they are 9th or 17th really doesn’t change things much.

I hate not being able to wallow in their misfortune.

And some are shocked when Endo doesn’t play.

:joy:

How many times has he written that headline…

More firing of non on-pitch staff!

What a line…

Scholes has also taken aim at the 40-year-old’s style of play – implementing a back three instead of a back four – and his treatment of academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo, but Amorim believes all the criticism from former players would disappear if the team won games more regularly.

Yes, if you would be criticized less if you were less shit. I can see why this guy is viewed as such a thinker

Unrelated, reports today from TeamTalk that United are considering overlooking CM again this window to get involved in the Semenyo race. They are interested despite not playing wide forwards because they think he’d be a good wing back

Don’t think Semenyo would be that keen after the Dalot incident yesterday. Completely taken out whilst high in the air and Dalot had no intention of getting the ball, just of injuring Semenyo. Not sure why these sort of incidents don’t warrant a red card - could be very dangerous. The focus post has been more on how Semenyo was lucky not to get a red card for his reaction.

I do think half a season where Liverpool have regressed a bit due to a number of factors and still lie level with a Man Utd team that apparently is improving day on day would factor into a lads thinking.

Lets not forget they fell from about this position to near the relegation spots entirely under Amorim. So effectively he has improved them to where they were under err ETH.

Simon Stone didn’t write this one… to be honest he posted 5 yesterday so…

They call that a meltdown?

Who gives a shit?

I’m sure that’s why they lost the lead…

…three times.

I know I generally don’t bother with Man Utd matches but I haven’t a clue who that guy is.

He probably played against us as he has played 46 times but yeah he’s completely passed me by.

Reports that Utd have been preparing in training for dropping the Amorim system :trade_mark: and moving to a more familiar 4-3-3. He has reportedly been open to switching for a while but wanted to do when he was ready to not because people were telling him to

‘I never wanted to play a back 3 anyway…’
