My memory of Man Utd growing up was a team that got the ball forwards quickly and had two strikers. Playing ‘wide’ was, in my opinion, more of a function of quick transition rather than a focus to get the ball out there.
Yeah and it was just how football was back then. That classically Utd side of 93/94 was not much different in shape or approach than the Blackburn side they were competing with, with Ripley and Wilcox out wide pumping balls into the box for Shearer and Sutton.
This is my memory of them as well
Not to mention the odd amount of injury time they would find if they were losing or drawing.
United going straight back to trying to buy fast winger types

Guys, the yellow and green scarfs are back to #Glazersin
“After lurching from one disaster to another, Ratcliffe comes across as an incompetent clown turning the club into a circus,” said the 1958 group in a statement.

Do Norwich fans break out the red and yellow scarves when they are angry?
No…
they break out Delia Smith
And he was there saviour hahahahaha

Can never pass up a moment, though she was having a go at the fans.
Holy shit, he really is and they’re really considering him.
Old Trafford; where memes become reality.
I thought Fletcher was supposed to see them through until the summer?
Amazingly he was only ever the interim caretaker ![]()
Nah, someone has to clean Alex’s bog. Fletch is best left where he is.
Nah this was the crazy think he was the caretaker’s caretaker.
Ole really gets such a boost off that covid season when everyone else was struggling.
Should have included #MMUGA
Should also have included Make United Great Soon, aka MUGS.
