Right. That is exactly what I’m talking about and everyone KNOWS that was what he was doing because the internet said so with a big laugh the next day and hes such an unsympathetic character that everyone was happy to just run with it.

What happened was they had just subbed off their striker for a winger and were not receiving any information about what the manager’s intention was for who was now playing where. He was frustrated at the lack of direction and clarity and so was yelling to the bench to sort it out

Sounds very complicated. Looked to everyone else like he wanted off. I don’t watch the pre or after game stuff nor follow any pundits. Thanks for telling us what really happened though, as usual, forgot to run by you first with what I saw.

This might just be cope - but for me there isn’t a bad result here. If United lose, we all get to laugh at what a complete unmitigated disaster their season has been. If they win, the pressure of performing in the CL is going to ensure another disaster season for them next season. They’re signing a dickhead in Cunha and a young lad not ready for the big time in Delap.

I mean the only source for him demanding to come off was a hysterical Neville looking for excuses for why the Utd side is so shit, which the entire internet seems to have accepted as fact despite the wealth of rejections of the claims. And the fact that it didnt even really look like that is what he was doing.

Although that was, I think, the same match that he got the ball nicked off him by Bajcetic, and rather than try to get it back he just stood there waving his arms at his team mates.

I don’t want to put the boot in to him, as he has a lot of qualities as a player, but I don’t see anything from him on the pitch that suggests he is a leader and example to others.
