I’m hoping they can’t afford to sack him, or fully back him.
Leaves them stuck in some halfway house. Some money to spend, but Amorim - a man quick to look for an excuse - will quickly say it wasn’t enough.
Meanwhile, Man Utd will again make no real progress under another supposed savior, and financially the cupboard will get bare again. Rinse. Repeat.
The only reliable thing for them is Jimbo will be looking to make more cuts. If I was a cleaner there I’d be worried.
