The Man Utd thread (3)

Yes, and:

Gyokeres has told them he wants to go to Arsenal
Sesko will not go to a non-CL team
Ekitike will cost them way too much
Osimhen will break their new wage structure policy before they even have a chance to start it

They’ve already started briefing that they still have confidence that Hojlund and Zirkzee will come good with better service from Cunha.

They’re humped.

I was gardening this afternoon, had Goldbridge on and he was going in HARD on reports from Portugal that Gyokeres would go to the Arse.

Just scrolled past this…

Classic.

The best is that just last week Goldbridge put out a tweet saying something like “Based on what I’ve just seen, there’s no way United won’t sign Gyokeres this window”.

Daft cunt.

Reading Red Cafe for laughs. It’s easy to see they take these as the gospel truth. They are after a different striker everyday. The clickbait really works over there.

Yeah I saw Donnarumma basically put pay to that rumour as well.

I guess part of Utd’s hope is that there will be one of these named strikers who will not get picked up by the CL sides when the musical chairs end and so will be open to a move to Utd.

Can’t understand any self reflecting ‘top footballer’ wanting to go there at the moment, they are a shambles on and off the pitch and it would only be for the money.

I liked Cunha as a player but his decision going there reinforces he must a dickhead

There weren’t serious links with any other clubs for Cunha.

I don’t blame Cunha for taking the pay packet hike to go to United. But no other club wanted him, probably shows that they fear he can be a liability as far as his discipline and hotheadedness goes.

All of these can be true at the same time:

  • he is a childhood ManU fan
  • he’s a dickead
  • you like him as a player

I also quite like him and I think he will be a success for them.

He’s a walking suspension.

If that’s the case, I’ll cheer it as well.

But Ibthink he’ll be quite successful, as long as ManU isn’t as well, I’m fine with it.

Fixed

Nah, I bet all three of those guys will be playing elsewhere, with ManU still paying most of their wages.

I don’t think that matters, he is better than what they have had available this season and is considered a better fit for the way they want to play under Amorim than those they sent out on loan. Even if he is regularly suspended, I think he will make them better (or at least earn more points) for the games he is available for than they did this season.

He doesn’t have to be a great signing, only good enough to get them some positive momentum.

When they signed Mount wasn’t everyone asking how both him and Bruno would fit into the same 11, and isn’t that dilemma compounded more now with the arrival of Cunha ?
