If that happens, They are going to be competitive.
All their striking talent seemed to have their stats padded with penalties and free kicks something they wonāt be doing at Old Trafford.

Article about their training facilities refresh - my favourite bit of information was that they now have smart urinals. I give you Manchester United - a club where the toilets are smarter than the players using them

They have some at our local swimming pool that only flush when they have been peed in. This is meant to vastly reduce the amount of water used.
I donāt think itās exactly state of the art technology.

They did get good deals so far under Amorim.
Juryās out with Sesko but Cunha , Mbuemo are all solid deals. Dorgu looks alright too (dodgy defensively but heās alright playing in the wingback).
Pretty much any shopping centre have these. I do feel any story about this lot comes with a lot of smoke that anything critical is probably worse than it is.

Disagree I feel theyāve overpaid for all three players so far this summer.
They just keep falling into the same traps. In Europe they only go for players with a big name, otherwise they overpay for āpremier league provenā players
Great example is both Frimpong and Kerkez. Both would be perfect for that system Amorim runs, but United were never even mentioned around them. Lots of other moderately priced players around Europe that could have come in and improved them, but because they werenāt sexy names that everyone knew already, then United werenāt interested.
Theyāve learned fuck all and will come up short again this season. Could maybe see them sneak into top 8 and maybe Europa League, but theyāre still miles off the required standard.

Thereās always an element of overpaying when it comes to premier league clubs and more so when it comes to United.
But the point is that theyāve made 3 good transfers so far. Atleast 2 premier league proven transfers and one who looks good.
Theyāre still a team which is majorly lacking. With the troubles that villa and Newcastle are facing , itās not beyond United to seal a europa or even 5th

We are a bigger attraction than United. I would say that we would have probably been interested in Mbuemo if for instance , salah had left. But he might not have been our first choice.
Therein lies the difference, they are stuck into transfers which clubs with better transfer teams passed up o.

And as far as Frimpong and Kerkez are concerned. They were no other clubs engaging in the battle because their minds were made up. It was always Liverpool for them.
Which sort of makes you wonder why theyāve done that deal?

Really boggles the mind. A Klopp would have waited for a year to see if the present strikers were any good before ringing in the replacements.
Hojlund is lacking but he isnāt that much different from gyokeres for instance.
Canāt stand Man Utd and I hope they sink without trace. But alas, I honestly do think they will start to rise up again. Mind you, itās hard not to given how far they have fallen.
In the Premier League predictor I have Man Utd finishing 6th. Still not troubling the best clubs, and nowhere near the title, but I expect them to start to be a bit of a force again this season. If there are 5 CL spots they have an outside chance of fifth - for the life of me I canāt see beyond Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea for top four.
It would not be a complete surprise if their problems persist, and Amorim gets sacked at Christmas, but I think it will go the other way and they will achieve a Europa spot.

I want them to start to rebuild, gather momentum, finish runner up once or twice, then go back to being in the shit. Nothing was more painful for me through the 2000s than the endless false dawns and near-misses. I want them to feel what thatās like. They havenāt even started to plumb the depths of football despair yet.
