Chapman - “While we wait for the Grimsby players to come out and talk to us…”

Mate, they’re probably pissed out their minds already, leave them alone.

When I labelled the Burnley match a must-win, I was actually taking for granted ManU would just get this one out of the way comfortably. They are in full crisis now.

Phil Jones!!

Man, Utd could’ve done with his spirit out there tonight, you never would’ve seen this kind of embarrassment happening under him.

They are in the 4th tier. This is catastrophic. Banter aside, Burnley this weekend now is Huuuuuggge for Amorim.

Yeah, they need a massive win at the weekend now. Not a shithouse 1-0, or a scrappy 2-1 comeback, a comfortable 3-0 or better where they look clearly superior for the full 90 mins.

Anything short of that and things are going to get even more toxic than currently over the international break. City then Chelsea after the break will likely put Amorim out to pasture, and if they don’t, then a trip to Anfield on October the 18th will likely be the last nail.

Let’s spare a thought for the United fan who isn’t cutting his hair until they win 5 games in a row - this was probably the easiest game they will play this season and the counter is still at 0. Male pattern baldness is his only hope.

Dunno why everyone is so happy. A nice little Carabao Cup run could have kept Amorin in a job until the new year.

Newcastle should be thrilled they didn’t waste money on Sesko.

I think if they don’t get 3 points, they might start talking about using the one week international break to make a change. That City-Chelsea pair will finish it otherwise.

People were worried United would become competent if Ole was sacked, then they worried United would become competent if ETH was sacked… we’re probably safe lol.

Sure I heard none of us, Arsenal or City won five league games in a row last season.

If that’s the case and now they have no League Cup games to go with no Mickey Mouse Europa games he may as well resign himself to his fate for another season.

When we passed on Amorim (rumors were that we were concerned about how tactically inflexible he is), that should have been a signal to any other serious club.

He had the excuse of starting in the middle of a campaign without a proper chance to implement his tactics and pick his players.

What’s his excuse how?

Apparently the Grimsby keeper just said in his post match press conference that he was gutted as he is a Manchester United fan

It would seem to be classic Ineos to make a managerial change a day or so after the transfer window closes

would they really make that change so quickly? I would have thought they would hold on until closer to Christmas at least. Either the team finally start gelling or alternative coaches will be closer to being available?

The response to Poch’s recent US squad has not been great. It’s not completely out of the question that the US look shit during these upcoming friendlies, Poch lashes out at the criticism and they mutually decide to cut ties and he is in charge at Old Trafford for the Chelsea game
