Egypt to create a gated high-security area in the reception of Palestinian refugees from Gaza

The Sinai Foundation obtained information through a relevant source that indicates that the construction work currently taking place in eastern Sinai, is intended to create a… pic.twitter.com/8Xe1H7t9O0

Egypt is toast if this happens. They will be burdened with 2.3m brutalized and traumatized Palestinians who will present a hoard of social, economic, political, and security issues for generations to come. All the while, The Desert will Bloom.

I’ve been predicting this all the while.

Makes you question the leverage US and Israel have over Egypt. I’m not sure Egypt is in a strong enough financial position to accept the extra burden of the refugees. Also , the Palestinians will only be shifted from one camp to another (albeit the second one won’t have the IDF bombing the daylights out of them - theoretically atleast)

:sob:

Also speaking in Munich on Saturday, German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock said that to establish a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians, there needs to be a guarantee that something like the 7 October attacks by Hamas can never happen again.

Yeah right, everything started on October 7 :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Fake news, the war is to destroy the terrorists and rescue the hostages.

The 64-year-old is respected by secular nationalists and Islamists alike

…and that’s the reason why he wouldn’t be released.

This article/letter is from 2015, but the opening lines seemed like he was addressing the present war.

The current escalation in violence did not start with the killing of two Israeli settlers, it started a long while ago and has been going on for years.

Israel’s idea of peace is to ethnic cleanse the entire Gaza area.

The politically correct term for genocide.

Who is that pretentious smartass lady interviewing the Palestinian PM at MSC??? Seems to have a well honed narrative; PA is unpopular and Hamas is terrorist, so screw the Palestinians. I imagine the lunatics in Israel and Palestine are gleefully watching this.

Excellent news

Nasser hospital in #Gaza is not functional anymore, after a weeklong siege followed by the ongoing raid.

Both yesterday and the day before, the @WHO team was not permitted to enter the hospital to assess the conditions of the patients and critical medical needs, despite…

Another hospital closed in a region with 70,000 injured people.

One more command center ?

How many command centers do Hamas exactly have ?

I think it was first usec in Bosnia. I had a friend who was a UN peacekeeper there in the 90s and said it looked a lot like a concentration camp.

“The world must know, and Hamas leaders must know – if by Ramadan our hostages are not home, the fighting will continue everywhere, including the Rafah area,”

OK Mr. Gantz, what happens if Hamas do release the hostages? Is Israel going to stop the Rafah offensive? Is Israel going to allow aids to go in? Is Israel going to stop bombing the hospitals and other shelters? Doubt that. You don’t have any influence over the fascists governing Israel and they have been good to their promise to raze Gaza.

Moscow :man_facepalming: is going to host a conference of Palestinian factions. This conference should have been hosted by some Arab country (Egypt, Jordan, Qatar) at the very beginning of this war. Once again the West and the Arabs left a vacuum to be filled by some obnoxious party.
