The anger at the terrorist attacks from a lot of people are understandable. Just like 9/11 was for USA , Mumbai attacks for Indiaā¦ This is a watershed moment on how Israel chooses to react.
While people have sympathy for the Palestinians (myself included) , I wonāt be calling this anything other than a terrorist attack.
Both the previous two terrorist attacks changed the way USA , India started dealing with acts and probably intrinsically changed the countryās viewpoint and more importantly the viewpoint of the populace. Israelās views have already been radicalized and theyāll get even worse for the Palestinians in Gaza/ West Bank now.
Biden has no choice but to support Israel in this matter.
All this seems very convenient in allowing Israel to purge Gaza though. Like I mentioned before , the Arab nations will shed crocodile tears but this serves their purpose as well. The Arab-Israel railroad holds too much strategic value. Much more than the lives of Palestinians at any rate.
If I didnāt know better , Iād say the Israeli establishment was counting on Hamas to do an attack like this just for the excuse. And Hamas , being a terrorist organisation was willing to provide just that.
Which news outlets are reporting the beheading of babies ? The only mainstream organisation Iāve seen report that are CNN (who said they could not independently verify the story) and Le Figaro (who called them ārumoursā). Both organisations attributed the story to an IDF spokesperson but no Israeli officials have confirmed the claim.

From what Iāve been able to glean , this comes from one Israeli journalist ,presumably caught up in the moment and embellishing a line fed to her most likely by the Spokespersonās Unit of the IDF. (propaganda unit)

Iām afraid I disagree. Those reports will be used to inure people to the horrors that await , and thatās why they were used.

Yeah. The rollback by white House means squat now that the damage has been done by Biden.
People will go by what Biden has said.
And thereās a difference between saying people were killed in terrorist attacks or saying people were beheaded.
Itās not just semantics anymore and it becomes worse when the victims are babies.
And if the terrorists did behead babies and thereās definitive proof on that , then the situation totally changes. Knowing Hamas, we just canāt rule it out

If true, the beheadings must surely rank up there with the horrific bayoneting of babies by Japanese soldiers in WWII.
