Honestly, what an experience for the passengers and the pilots.
Unfortunately, it wasnât fireworks. I hope for Iranâs sake that those launchers were not in silos but far away on trucks, because this is a super easy geolocation.

I saw it somehow was a headline that the Tory conference âgaspedâ when he revealed that his daughterâs middle name is Thatcher (poor girl).
Same bullshit that the American administration have been coming out with for a year. Great success theyâve had with that approach
This thread perfectly explains the best thing about X. Instant news and footage. Would be wrong to ban it here IMHO.
That whole âescalate to de-escalateâ strategy really turned out a treat.

Israelâs foreign minister says UN Secretary-General AntĂłnio Guterres is âpersona non grataâ in Israel, and is barred from entering the country.
Israel Katz says his decision is a response to Guterresâ failure to âunequivocally condemnâ Iranâs missile attack on Israel on Tuesday.
He accuses the UN chief of being âanti-Israelâ and giving âsupport to terrorists, rapists, and murderers. Guterres will be remembered as a stain on the history of the UN for generations to come.â
Yesterday, the UN chief condemned âthe broadening of the Middle East conflict with escalation after escalationâ and called for a ceasefire.
So in other words, Israel have stopped giving a fuck about what anyone else thinks and are doing whatever they want.
I had not realized that British forces were involved to that level, that actually surprises me.
Why would you be surprised? British forces were involved in bombing the Houthis (Iranian proxies) earlier this year.
I have no love at all for Israel but at some stage the West will have to take on Iran. The mullahs running that country will be a very dangerous and unpredictable enemy once they have the nuclear capability.
We have to choose sides sadly and there is a sinister axis of totalitarian regimes forming with Russia, Iran and North Korea and inevitably China too.
The Houthis were hitting any shipping they felt could be connected to Israel, and therefore affecting the UK. But beyond that, a bombing run is a discrete action that can get political approval and be executed. Participation in the interception requires acting from a stand-by basis. I would not have expected Britain to be operating that way.
Unfortunately, Trump killed off the last chance we will likely have for some level of normalization of relations with Iran for at least a decade.
âGoing to war to prevent war was the most stupid thing I ever heardâ
The King Blues (great band!)
Ansar Allah has attacked all sorts of ships, including Norwegian and ironically even Russian flagged ones. They just shoot.
Iran stated yesterday that this was exactly what they did (verbatim). Of course, it only ever works if the enemy is afraid of you and Israel isnt afraid of Iran, so imo a bonkers use of the Escalate to deescalate doctrine. I also think that Iran is just using the doctrine as an excuse and that it knows that this will trigger a massive retaliation very, very well. I think it finds itself in a horrid spot and felt forced to stage this , which basically was a war-level strike that legitimises a very vast Israeli attack, because it is so embarrased and humiliated and the Axis satelites voiced great disappointment with it. So Iran rolled the dice. Too early to say if the Rubicon has been crossed, but I would think its quite likely.
IDF walked into a Hezbollah ambush last night. Dead will probably rise with 1-2, since 3 are in critical condition. Several other wounded.

Meanwhile, Hamas Military Wing has taken responsibility for the terror attack on a cafe in Jaffa, where 2 terrorists gunned down several cafe-goers.
Hezbollah claims to have taken out 3 more Merkava tanks advancing towards Yaroun and Maroun al-Ras, but I have seen no confirmation of that. Might be true, might not.
