No idea what you wrote, just commenting my impressions when reading the discussions on whether baby beheadedings are true or not, which imo doesn’t matter as you are at the max level of evil as soon as you start killing indiscriminately in such a premeditated manner, regardless of the victims.
And the point I am trying to make is that it’s irrelevant. I still have the same amount of disgust regardless of how the babies, infants, victims were killed.
It’s not irrelevant , it’s an outright lie that’s only purpose is to increase the hatred and smooth the way for future atrocities. Call me old fashioned but I prefer to hear the truth.

Imo you are splitting peas. The people that show more hatred if you add beheadings to a baby death, are at a max level of hatred already, and are beyond reason. I am quite confident that Israelis wants a Hamas destroyed and don’t need to be convinced by adding beheadings. I doubt it’s just me thinking that a murdered baby is horrific no matter the manner of death. Burnt, beheaded, throat slit, bullet to the head, bashed, suffocated, it’s all details and misses the point. If it comes out as true, it doesn’t change my pov, if it comes out as false, it doesnt change my pov. Does you pov change depending on the detail of beheading? As I have said, mine does not, and I don’t think yours does, I just think you are stuck (focusing) on whether the manner of death is true or not.
I’m not trying to split hairs mate , I’m just stuck on the fact that it’s not true and was purposefully put out by the IDF Spokesperson Unit (that’s the propaganda arm of the Israeli army) for the reasons I’ve given.

Yes - Israel will revenge. Hamas has brought it on them. Left Israel no choice, Do you know any other country that will not revenge 1391 (current number) casualties?
If Hamas would want to prevent anything - There are 150-200 kidnapped civilians in Gaza now, freeing them can save many many deaths
im captivity there are babies and small kids, women captive by fanatic islamist jihadist … (hope they wont be raped to death)
As for the other comments - you said it - it can’t justify. There are 2 organizations controlling Palestinians and you can see that Fatah has lead them in the west bank to a much better life where we hope that a 2 state solution will happen in the future

Today they said that the attack drones are Iranian (new type, not seen in Ukraine yet)
The latest reports is that Iran knew of the intention but not the date.
Personally I don’t see how Iran is not behind it, but Israel and the US will get to it eventually

I am serious, this thread is inflammatory. No needed to be said, on Sat/Sun in the immediate aftermath, the narrative on here followed a course whereby there was an immediate attempt to shift blame on to the Israelis. People splitting rationale and justification suggesting the concepts have no overlap. Maybe read the early parts since Sat then let me know what you think.

I’m not here to defend what’s been said since the weekend. But I don’t understand the parallel of the actions of Israel and antisemitism in this thread. I’m just not seeing it.
That being said, we’re discussing some of the worst issues. religion and politics. there will be all sorts of opinions on the matter, but I’ve yet to see much in terms of derogatory remarks that haven’t already been addressed.
there will be no winners in this war, once again. only losers, who are the civilian casualties.
Israel are reported to have already dropped 6000 bombs on Gaza in response.
At the height of the US bombing of ISIS in Syria they dropped 5000 in a month

Just went to the first post since the attack, read the first 50, can’t find any obvious antisemitism but have found way to many “ok, this happened but ….” or “if this happened then this ….”. Just generally the vibe I’m getting, not picking on any specific posters.

Its amazing I did say it was muted - as in inferable from a lack or omission for genuine expressions of sympathy for Israel. How could it be any other way, its a criminal offence to incite religious hatred. Posts on public forums will qualify as well. They daren’t come out and expressly say.
