An expression we’ve all heard and I’m sure our non-native English speakers will have their own equivalent sayings…
But what exactly is the most fun you can have with your clothes on? And no, fully clothed sex does not count.
The other half and I were discussing this over dinner; she reckons it’s losing yourself in good music, whereas I would say it’s peeling and eating a pomegranate.
What do you all think? Suggestions please…
Being in the middle of an exploding field hand-lighting a huge firework display is pretty good. That’s when you know you’re alive

Oh yes …there are certain outfits you can buy online, er so I am told
Riding donkeys bare back.
Watching Liverpool win a big European game and getting drunk with a loads of reds afterwards.
Playing blackjack or poker at a Vegas casino.
Flying planes, driving trains.
Playing sport (footy, cricket, tennis, snooker/pool, ping pong).
Etc.
The absolute mayhem following “Corner taken quickly” and other such moments. Flying a light aircraft. A hot air balloon flight. Driving/piloting/sailing a RN fast patrol boat at full speed in Limassol Bay when the Captain told me to turn full to port and hold it there until we were doing donuts.
For me there are several moments but they all have one thing in common.
With every single one I can say, “I was there”
Several great concerts, opening of the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, kite surfing, skiing, snowboard in fresh powder - the list goes on.
Smoking a fat spliff and then eating strawberry trifle.
Party all night in the company of people you’ve never met before in a city that isn’t your home. See the new dawn without having slept. Go to bed in your hotel room amid the rising day and sleep until three.
Sleeping, time flies!
Haha, what to do when you find a Manchester United supporter whose had too much to drink.
Hanging with the kids. Anything from couch slothing to a massive bike ride…lego…family holidays ( Thailand pre COVID was a family fav) …I coach my girl in the under elevens and that can be draining and hard but just ultimately so much fun
On a personal level, scoring a crucial goal, winning football games.
With the missus, just a nice night out.
I love all the big ticket stuff but gimme time with the family
Oh, of course, seeing klopptomist and mascot talk politics on a football forum can be fun too…
