The Beatles have announced that they are putting a new record out next week. It’s called “Now and Then” which is an old John Lennon demo that they dubbed things over in the 90s around the time they did the Anthology albums.
Given the similarity of the title, I initially thought that they had resurrected this:
Talking of which, we saw the most famous Scouser in the world tonight.
Despite being at an age that most Americans start considering running for president, he put on a fabulous show.
Moved to tears on a couple of occasions. Wish he’d done Penny Lane though.

I’m off to see The Mission at the Roundhouse tonight. One of the top goth bands of the 80s, they’re still going strong and quality live.
Their frontman, Wayne Hussey, is a big Liverpool fan, too.

He also wrote a song about our win in Istanbul but I frankly didn’t like it.

The beatles released their first single Love Me Do in October 1962. The same week, United lost back to back games 3-0 and lost 8 of the first 15 games of the season.
In November 2023, the beatles released their last single in the same week that United lost back to back games 3-0 whilst losing 8 of their first 15 games.

If anyone had the same idea as me and having a cheeky bet on the same team winning the league, save your cash - it ain’t gonna happen
On hearing the ‘new’ Beatles’ track , I couldn’t help but think how Yoko must be feeling. So with that in mind …

Can’t get this song out of my head, really like how beat changes through out.
I think it is a bit dreary…my wife is on a committee with Mike Mac and sees him occasionally so she will tell him it is wonderful…sadly he is looking extremely frail now.
He always mentions “our kid”

I was a bit underwhelmed, especially after all the hype. I think there’s a reason it’s taken over 50 yrs to release it.
I’ve heard the new version and it adds nothing to the original. Yet again, a white person benefits from a black person‘s creativity.
