This is nearly sixty years old now , yet could you imagine the kind of reception this would receive today in Trump’s new christo-fascist America ? It was subversive then but would more likely be branded seditious now.

Talking about punk.

Any fans of the clash here ? London calling is a seriously good album and I’m not a punk fan.

Never did I think that I would post…Italian disco electronica. But I found this on the internet and…You know what guys ? I have listened to this now in the background 3 nights in a row. That’s…unlike me. But this was so refreshingly honest with no bullshit. And 0.000% fucks given by both !

Warning: Many units of alcohol are consumed in this video :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Last night, I was writing; to this:

We go from the kitchen to the balchony. No fucks given. Much alcohol consumed.

Were were you when I was young and could have drunk enormous amounts of alcohol to this (fair to say, I listened to rock n roll and metal, but I make allowances for something special that feels real and not fakes) ?:

Perfectly dorky. Essentially, quirky enough to be interesting. Less quirky than this, no interest from me (Because I generally don’t listen to or even like electronica; though I do like this I find, simply because it gives me quirky good vibes and I feel like drinking or smoking a lot of weed; which I am sadly again too old to do a lot)

Well I wasn’t going to wander around Derry without seeing this.

Stumbled upon this beautiful song:

Love that song, common staple among folk musicians. My personal favourite version though is the one sung by Carey Mulligan and Justin Timberlake in Inside Llweyn Davis, surprisingly good. Films decent too.

A Northern Soul banger from 1968 , incredibly with the original video. Later covered by Dexy’s on their first album. Both versions.
