Personally, I prefer the more subtle and less bombastic pieces;

Ravel String Quartet, Debussy, Bach Partitas etc

But having said that, Elgar Cello Concerto is something special.

On a more modern note, Arvo Pärt and Max Richter.

Spiegel im Spiegel always sounds like it inspired Radiohead’s No surprises. Apparently, Thom Yorke says they were inspired by Pet Sounds instead.

When in doubt, just throw in a ‘ooh, baaaaabyyy’, Robert. If that doesn’t work try ‘baby, baby, baby, baby’.

Someone did an AI generate spoof of Led Zeppelin and it pretty much sounded like that:

(I’m not sure if it actually was AI, but it’s very funny regardless)

Not as good as their very best, but would easily have been the best track on that dreadful In Through The Out Door album. :zany_face:

Unpopular Megadeth song but I’ve always loved this one. Dave can write catchy choruses

First gig of the new year: Jinjer

Had seen them at download before the this was the first time I saw them properly, and they smashed it. Great live.

When i come on this thread and i see the guys taste in music to mine, it soo different, it sounds harder, more rocky, metaly, punky, cooler, twisted ( in a good way). :joy:

Sometimes my choices are abit too cheesy and whimsical for majority of the posters. Anyway, one us has to be abit cheesy on here

I always liked some of the theme songs of the early American sitcoms (pre- Friends era).

Anyone remember this famous theme song from US sitcom? It brought back memories as kid. It is great to sing a long on a girl’s road trip.

I don’t think I ever watched that. It was a Happy Days spin-off. (As was Mork and Mindy. I have no recollection of that in the main show either)

I think Laverne and Shirley 5v show came before Happy Days. Alot of the characters in Happy Days also played characters in Laverne and Shirley.
It was a light hearted ‘feel good show’ setvin the late 1950s to mid 1960s.

I remember Happy Days more.
