as a distraction, hereâs a nice pair of boobies
The defence rests.
So whatâs the conclusion? John is waiting so he can make a decision on the ticket prices.
Whereâs ARD when we need him?
I wouldnât even touch it with your bargepole.
Years ago I bought a set of figures of Liverpool players. Seemed sort of gimmicky, but I didnât mind it. It was one of the teams where Fowler was wearing the nose strip.
Now I look back on that and think what the heck was I thinking?!
NFT seems this generations sort of similar thing, only bigger, better, for gamer types - of which there are many millions - and a new way for the club to expand revenue and win more fans.
Bunch of balls to my mind, but there you have it.
If it all translates to the greatness of LFC, and we buy more players, retain more players, win more trophies, then lovely.

Itâs not quite as simple as that.
Itâs essentially a way for someone to sell you nothing. And why should we stand in the way of the club parting fools from their cash - excepts their unregulated nature make them prone to being used for scams (people can use âinsider tradingâ methods to make appear a more sought after than it is), used extensively for money laundering, and environmentally devastating.
I am willing to donate some of my art for the club NFT. Then finally we can renew Salahâs contract.
I donât think itâs exactly that. I still struggle with it, but someone explained it but saying that itâs like owning the original Mona Lisa. You own the original and have the provenance to prove it but at the same time the image is in the public domain and any ole person can get a high def copy printed and framed and hang it up in their living room. The only trump Card you have is that no one else can claim to own the original.
I guess one could argue that spending money to own art or gold isnât much of an investment. To each his own i guess
At its most blandest of terms itâs a way to get people to pay for something that no one really knows the value of.
If the club makes revenue from it Iâm not too bothered kind of makes sense for businesses to get involved personally you wouldnât catch me dead buying one as I find it cheap and environmentally they suck.
Bit more on it here by the way: The climate controversy swirling around NFTs - The Verge
Makes sense for the club to go into this and evidently fans were asked as I did a survey and absolutely trashed the idea, they must listen occasionally however as I always suggest they go for darker reds and it seems that neste year kit will carry it.
More general one from verge who I canât vouch for entirely but do find some of their stuff in this arena very helpful NFTs, explained: what they are, and why theyâre suddenly worth millions - The Verge
Thereâs also appearances to keep up. For example as a person you may hate social media but you still might have you business on Instagram etc just because thats where the potential customers are and also so that you donât appear fuddy duddy
I donât think itâs exactly that. I still struggle with it, but someone explained it but saying that itâs like owning the original Mona Lisa.
Itâs not even that.
You own a space on a server that is represented by a picture (in this case the Mona Lisa). You donât own the Mona Lisa and have no right to use or claim ownership of the Mona Lisa. Nobodyâs else can use a picture of the Mona Lisa to represent their space on the same server, but that is as far as your âownershipâ goes.
Different age a different values way too many freeloaders in society nowadays that are happy not working
Now my brain hurts
Now my brain hurts
Then you understand it perfectly.
I suppose that in the case of the LFC NFTs they are backed by tangible stuff as well - access to a forum, exclusive content. That kind of thing.
My concern, beyond the scammers and money laundering, is the potential for it to influence team matters. As in âListen Jurgen, Minamino LFTs are selling like hotcakes in Japan. We need to see him in the team more oftenâŚâ
Well if they are selling like hot cakes then why would he need to be in the team

Ok.

Well makes more sense now
