True very easy to neglect the success they had in the first 10 years at the club and you can put that down to X amount of spending if you like…the last 10 years hasn’t stopped them spending masses and masses, just goes to show what losing one of the best managers can do…they lost all sense of direction after Fergie stepped down.

FSG like the Glazers? The people who put half a billion dollars of debt onto that manure of a club? Manures were debt free before their ownership. Now it’s half a billion. Sure there are good debts and strategic debts. But surely FSG cannot be put on the same shit platform as the Glazers just because of spending on players? Look at what the Glazers have done for that club other than allowing them to spend on players. Outdated infrastructure surrounding the club and look at what FSG has and is doing. If the only definition of a good owner is to spend and spend on players, you have plenty of those and good luck.

Let’s not make FSG mad…they just might try to sell us to Abu Dhabi, which is likely going to exit another investment of theirs.
Please do not fear-monger. If the charges are proven guilty, Abu Dhabi will not qualify as proper owners and therefore unable to purchase any clubs in England.

Aye, the Glazers took a sporting and commercial behemoth, rode its momentum to early wins achieved by other people’s work all while sucking money out of the club. They then allowed it to fall into a state of sporting and organizational disrepair that finally represented to quality of their governance.
There are some signs they finally made improvements on the operations side, but it’s still a club that requires probably a billion quid’s worth of spending to get it clear of debts it shouldnt have and get the infrastructure back up to par.

Has Mitchell had many unqualified successes with Monaco? Disasi and Embolo? Seems like a lot of money spent, lots of players signed but not too many of them really making a big impact.

All time highest points reached the other day, going past Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and now LeBron James has every chance to extend the record as he keeps playing.
He’s way up there on the assists table too.
I grew up watching Michael Jordan and that generation were the main ones I knew about. But what is unfolding now with LJ has a great chance at being regarded as best ever.
