15 years already. Geezzz… I remember the day they took over as if it was yesterday.

I like this statement. The proof that Henry and Gordon are smart people is that they acknowledge to have made mistakes along the way, and learnt from it. How many club owners make public statements like that? Not many I’d guess.

May they stay a long time in charge of LFC yet. They are the right custodians for this club.

I remember that day too.

it was a huge relief to know that the club had been saved,

even if it was by another group of Americans,

Hicks and Gillette made me untrusting of American owners

but these new American owners quickly won me over,
and have done pretty much everything they promised to do

but i still miss showmethemoney’s BQ updates,
along with Barney’s(?) updates about rich arabs or Hong Kong business men buying the club!

I remember hearing that it was yanks out…yanks in! Those 2 clowns before gave all American owners a bad name, but although FSG are not perfect, they have been great for our club overall.
