It seems that her history, and long-time, often very personal, rivalry with Sheikh Hasina was full of great intrigue and drama.
Her place within the struggles to establish and develop modern Bangladesh makes for fascinating reading.

I thought he was very good in The Residence. Seems to have played the role of a chief cop in a number of shows (The Good cop springs to mind).
Might give that a look⊠itâs on Netflix

I enjoyed The Residence. Good fun.
Interesting to see that AB was originally meant to be played by the great Andre Braugher but he sadly passed before filming, and was then replaced by Giancarlo Esposito. Both of those actors had previously appeared in the superb Homicide: Life On The Street.

Iâve not seen this reported in English Language news, but Erich von DĂ€niken has died (and/or been abducted by aliens).
He was probably best known for his pseudoscientific book âChariots of the Gods?â which claimed that human development had been guided by aliens and that this was evident in ancient artefacts.
Similarities to works of fiction by everyone from H. P. Lovecraft to Arthur C Clark have been noted.

The book was published just after â2001: A Space Odysseyâ was released. I suspect he got lucky in that many people who watched the star gate sequence on weed were probably open to a book of nonsense that appeared to have been written on it.

I heard the news that the actor Marcus Gilbert has died. He starred in films such as Army Of Darkness and Riders, and Television series such as Doctor Who and Murder She Wrote.
Iâd met him a couple of times and he was always very welcoming with a very self-deprecating sense of humour (despite being a handsome devil).

Apparently he pretty much appropriated or plagiarised several books that came out before his (such as morning of the magicians which came out in 1960 ) and i think continued to do so with his later books.
The publisher of Chariot of the Gods brought in a former editor of a Nazi newspaper to work on the manuscript which resulted in the bookâs approach of asking questions rather than making assertions - a strategy you often see frequently nowadays by pseudo science and right wing politicians.
Von Daniken had been convicted of theft, embezzlement and fraud several times and was called a pathological liar by a court psychiatrist but remained very popular and influential.

Tommy Wright - RIP
A league title and FA Cup winner, Tommy Wright has passed away at the age of 81.
Wright made 374 appearances for the club and earned 12 caps for England during a distinguished career.
Our heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A great full back. John Moores used to give the apprentices a taste of real work in his various businesses and Tommy did a placement working with my dad. My dad said he was a really nice lad.

I watched a Nivea video a letter to LFC on LFCtv , it was presented by Ibou Konate, this was about a girl writing to the club to praise her brilliant dad and Ibou was superb throughout always with his infectious laugh it was quite emotional. When I heard about Ibou losing his dad it brought all back and it was devastating for him Iâm sure hence why I send him and his Family all our condolĂ©ances and to tell him we are thinking of him at this tough time and RIP to his dad.
