Good luck to Bobby Firmino in his new role as a pastor in a church. I remember back in the day when a footballer might aspire to run a pub or something. These days at the top end they have many millions, so it’s nice to see someone ‘giving back’ in the local community to help lift people. Many people don’t share the faith aspect, but Bobby has a sincere faith that is clearly a motivator for him to do something good. I read his book and he was a bit of a womanizer and drinker before, so the change is nice to see.
