That’s a start. Needs ramping up. These cunts need calling out at every opportunity.
Every referee right now is a nightmare for us.
Fucking bunch of cretins.
So in the last few weeks we’ve seen two incidents deemed to be headbuts after the opposition player threw themselves on the ground after not really being headbutted and the red cards were universally deems to be justified. We’ve now had a cast iron pen ignored and the response is to question why Isak didn’t throw himself on the ground to sell it. We then have Mac on the end of incidents no different than what Bentacur or the Brentford lad did, so threw himself on the ground as people in the game seem to agree is the appropriate, nay required, to get the ref to respond properly, and now he’s being condemned.
Thee is nothing weird about this. They’re both just committed life long fans of AFC Barnet

Woah, hang on. If the ref gives a pen for the pull on isak then it’s a red card.
It’s nearly FIVE YEARS since Liverpool got one of their only two VAR foul penalties, both in early 2022.
He also brings up the point which infuriates me in every game which is our players getting twatted and no fouls are given but we so much as breathe on an opponent and they fall over and get a free kick.
Tompkins is accused of bias in his analysis and statistics…but even if he is only 50% correct, then this data is very damming.
It was a penalty.
Nyoni was also fortunate that he didn’t either get two yellows or a straight red early on. It wasn’t intentional but the foot down the back of the leg with studs will often result in a red.
Probably more applicable to this thread.
We’ve played 5 PL games at Anfield this season and been fucked over in 3 of them.
We’ve had 3 refs from Yorkshire (Barrott has done 2 games) and one from Manchester.
Barrott fucked us against Forest. Kavanagh the manc fucked us against City and yesterday Madley fucked us against Arsenal.
I didn’t even know Madley was from Yorkshire, thought he was somewhere down south, so imagine my surprise when I googled him to find he’s from West Yorkshire.
Howard Webb territory. There must be something in the water in Yorkshire to produce so many top class referees.
Away we’ve had Attwell, Oliver, England and Brooks. All cunts with history where bad decisions against this football club are concerned.
Trey’s was never a red as the force wasn’t excessive, he wasn’t out of control on on his feet
BBC going with this sensationalist headline, which basically sets Iraola up to be the bad guy.
Highlight the real issues within our game you complicit twats.
I’ve seen quite a lot of those given as reds this season. In the Premier League and across Europe. I was very surprised to not even see a yellow.
I thought the Lewis skelly one against wolves last season or the season before should have stayed as a red. I thin there was one with Messi at the world cup that wasn’t given and i think it should have been. The mateta one against spurs is not intentional but it’s a red. I think i recall one on salah from choudary against leciester that klopp said should be a red card. One could find a hell of a lot more.
If it all corrupt and against just us then Nyoni could have been gone for 2 yellows at least early doors. If they were looking to screw us.
If it was against us i’d be fuming that it wasn’t even looked at apparently.
Our last 2 home games, proper title influencing matches, have been taken from us by what looks like dodgy refereeing.
This is mostly all we get to talk about nowadays after games, there are hardly any great footballing outcomes, just abject officiating.
The game is close to being done. Its corrupt and the stench is high and wide now.
In real time both Nyoni and Barcola put in challenges that I instinctively thought were reds but on the replay both did well to keep their studs down and fall short of excessive force. Neither connected with the opponent on or above the ankle.
That said, I was also expecting us to be on the wrong side of those decisions.
Isak’s was the most blatant example of us being screwed over but there were also Mac Allister having his shirt pulled (also by Timber iirc) and Gakpo being hugged by Tzolis. Timber could have had 1 red and 3 yellows alone!
I also seem to recall Virgil being held in the box on several corners.
As for the Madueke head dip on Mac Allister, yes he massively oversells it in the South American way, but what on earth was Madueke doing? He was lucky to get away with that.
Then there were several incidents involving Kerkez, Gakpo, Wirtz etc where fouls weren’t given on them but the slightest touch the other way was penalised.
I thought we did extremely well considering and no way deserved to lose that game.
It still has to be excessive and agreed he probably should have got a yellow but never a red
I think the lad on video duty was asleep. I thought we did well and i was frustrated we didn’t win because i felt we were the only side that would win if we could have got it back to 1-1.
I don’t recall the barcola one but there were multiple instances like you have listed were i was left yelling and being told to be quiet by the kids downstairs ![]()
I am not a believer in the corruption against one side. All clubs have supporters who feel the way some do here and they also have some that are like me.
Too many rules changes and too much subjectivity. Pulling the shirt = yellow card and it should be anywhere on the pitch… not just for breaking up play. That way it is always a foul. No longer subjective.
Holding in the box is supposed to be a foul this season but sometimes it is and sometimes it’s not. Just make it a rule that is absolute.
I have said it many times holding/pulling or grabbing a shirt is a deliberate action and should be penalised no matter where, how hard or how long, just be consistent, give the foul and it will soon stop
I don’t want him sent off
just to clear that up!
I am not going to argue and say it is definitely red because it is not definitely. Just think it was fortunate it was a nothing.
