Or, theyâre in a hostess bar. The women work there and are not prostitutes. Thatâs very common in this part of Asia.
More fool them, though, for going to such a place and no doubt getting ripped off.

I agree in principle, but if they are married it could leave them open to blackmail.
Thatâs assuming that these women arenât just a group of local football fans keen to discuss the offside rules or how early to produce the first yellow card.
The presumption that theyâre sex workers is pretty distasteful though.
The whole story is quite depressing in a number of ways to be honest.

The problem with it is professionalism, and it being an old boys club.
Itâs a fair assumption given it was reported that the location is known for sex tourism, and the bar is located in the red light district.
The other photos from that night was very friendlyâŚ(sitting on laps, holding each other etc)âŚall married men.
Itâs important for refs to be seen with integrity. Like I said above with the article defending Coote as being only human. It painted them acting more like the lads out of the inbetweeners.

To be fair I donât think itâs to do with them being Asian. If this happened in the red light distract on Amsterdam, Hamburg or Tijuana. 6 middle aged refs with women half their age, I think it would natural assumption. Thatâs not judging the women. Itâs judging the men.

Not at all. Like I said, Iâm sure a bunch of very well paid football referees rocked up in an Indonesian red light distinct, and just happened to bump into a group of horny young women half their age who had a thing for middle aged men.

It really feels like we have smashed all the way through the looking glass, swept up the shards and pissed on them.
Is this the new world we are living in post-trump? Letâs set aside the fact that they are referees with influence over a multi-billion dollar industry. Letâs forget the capacity for blackmail and compromat.
Any middle aged man hooking up with a young woman for an evening of enjoyment, whether they are paying for it or they have been supplied by some other benefactor, should be aware that they are basically having sex with someone against their will. Invariably a prostitute is going to have some violent controlling man behind the scenes. There is a pretty good chance they are trafficked.
Itâs really depressing that men engaging prostitutes on holiday is seen as a bit of harmless laddish fun, rather than participating in a miserable, grim culture of violence and exploitation.

We moved from underage to a prostitution discussion when if Iâm honest the bigger issues remain the videos when he is off his tits and other rumours about when he is working.
The power position and money exerts over others would be regardless. Letâs face it there are numerous examples of footballers.
Can we stick to that, there is a moral discussion to be had about the whole thing but yet we will only hold those we hate up to that light.

The moral issue is indistinguishable from the bias/corruption issue.
Premier League referees photographed off their tits and in the arms of prostitutes is a moral failing, and given the capacity for blackmail and leverage, a professional failing as well.
