The Room 101 thread

Obvious AI designed book covers, in fact 99% of AI created art as it looks awful.

Let me guess, he wanted warm sausage rolls but didn’t want to pay the VAT on them. Then he starts arguing with the staff and filming them and she told him to leave for being a dick.

I’m completely lost as to the argument over warm and not warm and why he can’t get the ones he wanted?

Well, he hasn’t shown that. I saw a very similar clip a while back and it was someone making a video about VAT. Essentially, takeaway food is subject to VAT if it is cooked. Greggs also sell the same products in non-cooked form so that you can heat it at home (or eat it cold, if that is what you prefer) and that is not subjected to the additional 20% tax.

That kind of thing is fair enough if that is what they are making and the staff give their consent to be be shown. I’m pretty sure that what this guy is doing is trying to rope some minimum wage staff into his “content” and they have rightly told him to do one.

Ah okay, thank you. Clears that up.

Or, given that the VAT on a sausage roll is only 26p, and the ones on display are rarely even luke warm, it’s very possible that the staff couldnt be arsed to get hot ones for the customer, and in typical younger generation fashion, the “I’m offended” card was played when politely challenged.

Open to interpretation as the video isn’t conclusive, but I know which version my money is on

People who moan about other generations being “the worst generation ever”.

I have a bath every Sunday, whether i need one or not

Yeah I did wonder what’s that all about, like what’s that different from current ones.

It’s about creating a market and making cash!

Smelly ears and eyes.

English isn’t my native tongue.

But point noted.

When did super become the new very?

What is wrong with the word very? It has served me super well all my life.

Next thing we know …it’ll be blamed on neo liberalism :open_mouth:

I want to put in 101 all the scumbags who invaded our beaches over this last weekend and totally trashed it and set the dunes on fire.

This one photo is just a snap shot. Who goes to the beach and leaves their child’s chair, tent, sand toys and beer cans behind? I personally picked up about 10 laughing gas canisters as well as at least 50 plastic bottles and cans in about a 20 yard radius of my car earlier today.

I was on Southsea beach a couple of weeks ago and it was busy. I honestly didn’t see a single piece of litter. Why do my fellow scousers trash their own coast.
