Looking back, the draws against Leeds and Newcastle are going to hurt more than those six losses at Anfield.

Errrrr… no.

Two draws= 4 points dropped.
Six losses= 18 points dropped.

Basic maths, my friend.

Technically from points and our chances of top 4 perspective, of course 6 losses would hurt more than 2. But given that despite the shitty period we had, we still had a chance of finishing top 4 and screwed up yet again against Newcastle and Leeds, can understand why that’s more hurtful.

Since Xmas our season has been crap. Roll on next season.

Imagine…last game of the season…we are winning…not sure of the number of goals…60 mins…and the sub’s bench…movement!!! Virg, Joe G and Joel appear…what a sight!!!..me off in lala land.

Part of me wants to keep Virg wrapped in cotton wool.

The second we put him on the pitch, he is picked for the summer for the Netherlands. They still might do that, but in the meantime, Klopp is making the case not to play him…

I would rather have a fully fit and fresh VVD, Gomez, and Henderson from start of next season than risking them this season. The way this season is progressing, even a last minute cameo can result in a torn ligament.

Wow good point!

Maybe it only counts for Man City and Man Utd

I think it’s why Klopp decided not to drop Fabinho back in defence this weekend.

The results with him in midfield have been a hell of a lot better.

Ok, top 5 in our hands, can we get to top 4 in our hands! Man U, Arsenal, can help us, and Chelsea/Leicester guaranteed to drop 3 or 2 points.

We’ve still got a chance for top four. Hopefully United and Chelsea do us a favour and beat Leicester. If we beat United during the week that would do nicely.

United on top; fan appeasement much?

I think Man Utd will play a weakened team against Leicester on Tuesday, and it is quite possible Leicester will beat them.

Man Utd know they won’t win the league, even though it is still mathematically possible. So they could damage a rival by helping Leicester out.

I fully expect Man Utd to have all their big players on display against us. Can’t stand them.

Yes. Posted similar a few times.

Now Maguire is ‘injured’. Bet he will be back against us - not that rate him or something. Played every game of the season and now he will miss Leicester.

Oh! I thought he had just stuck his head on his foot which apparently didn’t make any difference to him.

I don’t have much appetite for these permutations/combinations, but I feel we will finish top-four if we win our remaining games.

If Man U try screw us over by trying to doctor the results, it will be a voodoo/witchdoctor curse of injuries, red cards, failed transfers, destructive var decisions, blatantly corrupt UEFA fines, docked points, more crippling debt, abandoning sponsors, plague, condemned training grounds/stadium, that they will never recover from, and Brucie won’t be available to urinate on their goal posts.
