The Run In Thread

Look at it simply. We can still finish 3rd!

Only if utd get docked a lot of points. :joy:

I’d be more confident about us finishing top 4 if I hadn’t seen us play yesterday.

Realism doesn’t belong in this thread.

Injuries for me as it always has been.

Don’t mind the team grinding out results like yesterday, enough quality in the performance to suggest we will be ok plus it’s at home.

Surely if they get docked 2 points we can finish 2nd, or am I missing something?

Why only 2?

Since @Iftikhar apparently has better things to do:

Chelsea | 35 GP | 64 pts | +23 GD
vs. Arsenal
vs. Leicester
@ Aston Villa

Leicester | 35 GP | 63 pts | +20 GD
@ Manchester United
@ Chelsea
vs. Tottenham

West Ham | 35 GP | 58 pts | +10 GD
@ Brighton
@ West Brom
vs. Southampton

Liverpool | 34 GP | 57 pts | +18 GD
@ Manchester United
@ West Brom
@ Burnley
vs. Crystal Palace

Beat them, beat them the proper way and if not we don"t deserve T4.

Beat United and west brom back to back first… Then it’s time to bring out the calculators.

Only 4 games left for us, also West ham results will have to be considered. Not straight forward at all.

I agree with Steve, let’s win our games else none of this will matter.

I’m kind of lying low, as apparently I can jinx things.

You know you’ll still get the blame right? At least for this season

If we do make it, I’ll give some credit to you for the reverse jinx effort.

Just imagine…a last minute goal against United.

Then losing to a relegated WBA.

The Liverpool Way.

On paper Leicester have a horrible run in that could reasonable see them pick up no more points. In practice maybe less so though. Utd played a surprisingly strong side in their last 2 games and will likely make significant changes for Tuesday game in preparation for playing a strong side again against us. So, that’s a double plus for Leicester.

They then have Chelsea who might be looking to rotate a bit in preparation for the CL final

Then while Spurs looked a difficult one on paper, they’re really not very good right now and I’d back even a free falling Leicester with a massive mental scars from last year to beat them on the final day.

You know its bad when you believe that the teams above you will drop the points, but you don’t have the faith in your own team picking up the points we need.
