The Russian Invasion of Ukraine (Part 2)

Some serious ass whooping by AFU. If it’s to be believed.

Given most of the sources are enraged Russians, seems credible.

As a GIS specialist, someone would lose their job over that map. And it’s a fucking military map no less.

Ukrainians captured a Lieutenant General apparently, a high command biggie and theater level commander by all accounts. See if any further confirmation comes but if it is him then… wow.

They’ve been overrun extremely swiftly in some points and the Russians simply aren’t reacting quickly enough and in this instance is likely also to have coughed up a treasure trove of Intel.

And we’ve been hearing that phrase alot lately. Most Russian (insert troop, aircraft, naval vessel, general type or name here) lost/captured since WWII.

I didn’t post it because most sources I read agree it’s not him. It doesn’t really look like him tbh. Hope it is him though, but I don’t think so now.

Seems entire town is taken and no longer just encircled (the spearhead just ran around it).

Russia’s fucked. They can’t possibly withdraw and yet if they don’t what remains in Ukraine is going to be absolutely smashed. I can’t imagine they’ll commit much more resources to the theatre now, the game’s surely up. It feels like we’re beyond the end of the beginning and really are now entering the beginning of the end. It feels that the tide has turned.

They are still trying to regroup and have launched 3 failed attempt of counter. But they are in serious disarray in that pocket. It’s bizarre to watch. Meanwhile, they have solid troops in Kherson, making Ukraine pay in blood for every meter, but the morale is horrible at the Kharkiv front and the fighting there is kead by truly badly led troops.

I agree with the sentiments, but I would still caution some reservations. Russia has 20 K at Izum and Kupiyansk is closer to Russia. Let’s just cross our fingers and let’s not forgert the several hundred CAS Ukraine has daily. This is very bloody and many are making the ultimate sacrifice.
