To be fair, it has been going on for a while. But yeah, explaining why they are the victim of the cruel West and how that explains military and economic setbacks is now absolutely a priority it seems. And it seems like most oft he Russian media has got that memo.

Agree with every word almost. I don’t want to derail this, but I am honestly not sure the MAGA movement is any better than the Z movement. If Trump was dictator and called for MAGA to support a war he had unleashed upon an innocent country, I fear most of it would have been no better than the Russians. We are lucky Trump was president in a country where he was unable to stage a successful coup and become dictator with unlimited power. I doubt Trump is a “kinder” man than Putin, doubt he has better morals. In a way, I think Trump is almost worse, since Putin wants to build an empire for Russia and history. Trump is just for Trump and I suspect he would sell kin for power. Thankfully we will never know as Trump will never be allowed such power in the US.
