The Russian Invasion of Ukraine (Part 2)

I agree completely.

However, “if it weren’t for their nuclear arsenal” is a pretty big if!

Fucking solid.
Crotale as well now after Russia’s banal terror bombing.

I didn’t realise (note to @Flobs ) that it was 18 now, so although absolute numbers of aid in economic terms is not high, it has very high military effect.
Also, video for Flobs:

Probably on his Mobile phone, checking his Washing machine listing on Ebay.
Iv done this many a time, admittedly not in a tank, in the middle of a war on a road full of landmines.

I have read the link you posted regarding Frances military contribution/speed of reaction to the conflict and it comes across as a page filler. I appreciate you have more experience/knowledge in terms of importance of the donations but to me it seems both Germany and France are reluctant to go against Russia and their donations are simply saving face.
Considering they are the two major powers in the EU, you would expect more from them. But no, their contribution in terms of GDP is pathetic and the French creating a €100m fund for Ukraine to buy French manufactured products is pathetic. Macron probably spent more money influencing Mbappe to sign a new contract.

As in a page full of all the military equipment known to have been delivered by France you mean , as well as a tacit admission that this likely doesn’t cover all of it ?

Have you actually read the page? It only compares them to Germany, in terms of donations. The report even highlights their reluctance to supply and also speculates ‘will’ and ‘what’ they could supply.
Tacit admission that this likely doesn’t cover all of it…well, that is really reassuring and is again speculative. So why are France being quiet with their donations? Doesn’t really set an example or encourage others to ramp up their aid? Although, to be fair it would make Macron/Putin’s telephone calls a bit more awkward.
