More on the Dopropillia assault and the mangled bunny ear on the Pokrovst axis in Donbas
(For those not following the war too closely, the Russian deep penetration that forced UA to ship reinforcements and counter attack, once looked exactly like a buny/hare with long ears on the map)
Now, it doesn’t look too much like hare, but getting mangled does that to even bunnies and hares:
Apologies for using FB platform, I am off Twitter for the time being.
I appears that RU are continuing to poke for weakness, testing boundaries and the resolve of the EU.
Be curious to know what the next stage is. Is EU or NATO just going to act like a passive doorman at a bar, keeping the annoying drunks out?
I saw Rutte mention Article 4…
There are some very good news:

This was a HIMARS strike

And it is claimed that US will now allow Ukraine to buy Thomahawks (rumours over the last days, but confirmed pretty much by Kellogh and Vance).
Russia is prepared for this and signals that this clear Red Line they had, is no longer a Red Line (as always with them):

Mi-8 shot down near Donetsk.

“Appears to be an Mi-8 series (not an Mi-28 series) helicopter. Also, note what appears to be a Ka-52(M) flying in the background. A typical Russian helicopter strike group comprises two attack helicopters (of the same or a dissimilar type) + an Mi-8 series escort. The latter carries a CSAR team on board to extract attack helicopter crews in the event they’re downed. It seems that in this case the FPV operator got the Mi-8 escort.”

There are other videos, close up and other angles, including the wreck etc., but it’s enough with 1 as documentation

Thanks for the info @Magnus
Hopefully Ukraine will continue to have the means to strike well into Russia so they feel the hardship of this. The Tomahawk deal hopefully will have some teeth. Russia’s indiscriminate actions continue to be appalling.
Thank fuck. Really wish Ukraine had gone harder sooner. Russia as a whole is complicit in Putin’s fascist murder and it is absolutely okay for Ukraine to target infrastructure deep into ‘civilian’ territory.
