Yes, because there are survivors that then infiltrate. And they do indeed push the lines forward, but at great cost.

Pundits and statesmen are taking for granted that Putin himself is all there upstairs.
The reality is that he is a cold-blooded killer, who from a lowly KGB agent became a dictator, by moving aside by any means necessary anyone who was above him in the food chain. The 2.5 decades of absolute rule that followed and the isolation during Covid did nothing but foster his delusions of imperial grandeur.
In other words, he is far from being as normal and as down to earth as some would have you believe.

They are deeply inside and logistics to efeners now almost impossible. Ukrainian reinforcements have to walk minimum 10km, often 20 km, because vehicles, including ambulances, are impossible to use; Ru blows them up.
So in short, Pokrovst is on life support and the patient is in terminal condition and dying.
