So you have Ukraine ancestry? Somewhere outside Lviv is the historic limit of Europe, either Poland or Austria. I went to Ukr in 2015 just after Crimea and was told all the stories of Rus exploitation of the ‘bread basket’. As well, most of the decorated warriors of WWII for Russia were Ukrainian.
This new lineage started when Putin went into Syria to protect Assad, he did that because they are - to my mind - both in on the Islamic terrorism thing. Its a four pronged attack, Rus on energy China on economy, Iran and Syria terrorism. Biggest problem is we’ve been infiltrated to fck.

my maternal grandfather held a Ukrainian passport and received citizenship when he arrived here. my maternal grandmother was born to Ukrainian immigrants in northern Alberta and related to Canadian artist Peter Shostak who did a lot of artwork commemorating the culture of the area.

my mother has the exact details of what town of Ukraine we came from, it’s directly south of Kiev approx 100km. This is the last picture we have of our family in Ukraine, Jaroslav is second from the left. My grandfather is the smallest wrapped up in the white blanket front and center at 4 years old. 1928.

These two updates somewhat confirm that Russia is concentrating its efforts on this region and slowly creeping west. Be willing to be their deeply trenched in their positions behind these forward lines. Will be very difficult for UA to dislodge them from these areas as the war carries on.
