Kyiv quells fears of weapons smuggling from Ukraine

Officials from the DPR, who were holding Mr Urey, said he died in captivity on 10 July from underlying health conditions and “stress”.

So if I read that correctly, they were withholding his insulin for his diabetes.

Murder.

Re- the death count regularly posted in this thread: remember that it is the Ukrainian version. Russians admit that roughly 1.3k of their soldiers have been killed so far. So, between the alleged 35k Russians killed according to the Ukrainians, and the official number of 1.3k on the Russian side, there is some margin. Also, the Ukrainians never communicate their own death toll. It’s all part of their psychologic warfare.

Here is an article from the bbc on that topic:

All of these posts I post needs to be taken with a bucket load of salt. We’ll never know the true numbers. There’s a lot of propaganda on both sides. So I’m trying to post from UA and RU sources… I guess the truth lies somewhere in between.

So let’s say 50-60% of this stuff is true. Still, not a small numbers.
