Notably, Golman belongs to the species of Russians, who bought into the “we withdrew from Kyiev as a sign of Good Will” nonsense, that Russia embarrasingly peddled in 2022.
Robotic Assault. Supported by drones. No infantry involved, except on the Russia side.
This is a spectacular video.

Getting flanked by 2 Death Robots with heavy machine guns and a very low profile (they are so short !!!) , that have full situation awareness, must suck so hard.
Maximum speed 12 kph, surely?
One would hope so ?

This is now officially one of the most bad ass videos I have seen from Ukraine.

Watch until the end.
Hmm, cycle just started an hour ago, and I see now that a ship has been hit, but listed now as destroyed. Hmm. Usually, they have been listed as damaged.
Just interesting to note
That is an understatement. The sheer psychological impact of being in that situation is almost incomprehensible. In standard infranty engagement there is still a human factor; the idea that you inflict casualties in your opponent or at the very least make them bleed as well to render them ineffectual and you can rely on your training to (hopefully) carry you though until they withdraw. In essence on a human level, making your enemy hurt as well gives you a reason to carry on even if that’s just some small satisfaction. Let’s be honest, we’ve all been in a scrap at some point and we’ve all said, ‘at least I got them good as well’. The only effective counter is amour but drones have made those similarly ineffective.
There is literally none of that here. Throw that out the window. They’re in a situation where they’re being actually hunted and even that sense of satisfaction at causing pain to your enemy is erased. This war has often got me comparing it to WWI even though technology has moved on so much. Even your previous posts about the concentration of force and the depth of a breakthrough before being effective; static front lines, grinding advamces at tremendous cost. I can recall documentaries about the first use of tanks in modern warfare and the psychological scars inflicted where even the sound would induce terror. That’s now been replaced with the buzz of a drone. Airborne drones keeping armour relatively ineffective, ground drones thereby acting effectively against conventional infantry, air defense keeping one or another from gaining air superiority means a manoeuvre warfare doctrine is almost impossible. Strategically, winning the war on the Frontline itself by having massive breakthroughs to gain territory is almost impossible now.
Thank you @Magnus et al for the updates. Been away for a bit, appreciate your perseverance with the updates
The introduction of the tank was my thinking as well. I suppose the next thing is the anti-robot robots.

We ended up with 20 ships. Not in the Sea of Azov, but in the Black Sea. Well, you can read the report.
