Stevie v Rodgers doing their best to win this.

Can’t be forgetting Fat Fwank.

Them bitter clowns love him no chance yet.

I think it will be Stevie, unfortunately. Doesn’t look good at Villa for him.

Fat Frank is vulnerable too, but Everton are so bad that expectations might be lower, so they will persist for a bit. They’ve also churned through a lot of managers, so will want to extend the benefit of the doubt to Fat Frank, but hopefully that just puts them firmly in a relegation scrap they can’t dig out of. Come on Frank!

Rodgers is vulnerable too, as it looks like it is coming to the end of a cycle at Leicester. However, it sounds like they have to pay him a tidy sum to get rid, so he might be protected for a bit yet.

Sorry Stevie. It’s a cruel world, but Villa fans won’t be holding a candle for a former Liverpool midfielder. They will expect to be upper mid and with a fair wind even dreaming of Europa. They have spent money but there’s no discernible pattern and no real evidence of progress.

Potter seems like the standout manager to me in the smaller clubs. If and when he moves on from Brighton he might want a bigger job than Villa, but you would have to think they would be looking at someone like him.

Both Leicester and Villa would probably fancy him.

Gerrard has Arsenal and City next. Would be harsh to sack him after those games.

And tbh I have the feeling he will get one point out of one of those games.

If Gerrard ends up getting the sack at villa he should never be appointed as Klopps replacement.

It’s Scott Parker that’s gone first.

There’s only one man that can save them…

Bit harsh.
Surely no one expected them to beat Arsenal, City and us in the last 3 games?

My thoughts exactly. But it seems that the board didn’t like the response to that drubbing - calling for more investment and suggesting the team wasn’t good enough.

It seems bonkers. Their objective would have been not to finish in the bottom three, they have played three of their toughest games in the last four and they are not in the bottom three.

Wow, that’s really harsh. He brings them back up to the PL. In the first round of fixtures, they beat Aston Villa 2-0. Then, they face Abu Dhabi, Arsenal and LFC in succession. As could be expected, it results in three losses (in-between, he still qualifies his team for the next round of the EFL Cup against Norwich).

Now that they finally have that batch of tough games behind them, and can start looking towards a gentler run of games, he gets the sack. This chairman must be completely out of his mind to do this. And then he goes on speaking about ‘showing belief in and respect for one another’. Yeah right… the best way to show respect to his club would probably be to resign from his position as he’s clearly unable to take rational decisions.

Oh, and of course, Bournemouth will be relegated this season. It’s a certainty with such a bad leadership at the helm.

How many times has LFC got PL managers sacked?
Quite a few, I believe.

That’s actually disgraceful by Bournemouth

Just been listening to BBC…there seems to be some underlying reason…regarding transfers…wether it’s true…I know not…
